Here at Lancaster County Backyard, we build our sheds to meet the rigorous industry standards of commercial construction. You may rest assured that your new shed will last for many years with minimal maintenance.

 

The 8' wide shed models have two 4 x 4 pressure treated runners. The  10', 12', & 14' wide shed models have five 4 x 4 pressure treated runners.

 

Floor joists are 2x4’s - 16" apart and are covered with 3/4" plywood floor sheathing.  In the garage models, the floor joists are 2x4’s - 12” apart. The garages come standard with 12" on center floor joists, but this option can be ordered with any shed.

 

The wall studs are 2x4’s 16" apart and are covered with ½” Duratemp Siding for the wood sheds and 7/16 OSB sheeting for the vinyl sheds. We offer fourteen colors of paint for the wood sheds and nine colors of vinyl siding for our vinyl sheds.

 

The roof is built with 2x4 rafters - 16" apart and is covered with 7/16" OSB sheeting and 30-year architectural asphalt shingles!
